About barton family farms

We are a small family owned business in Acworth, GA. Our farm stand is our pride and joy… along with some other things.

We are a micro bakery and micro farm. We bake and sell items like sourdough, cookies, cinnamon rolls, granola bars, muffins, and many more. We also grow an array of veggies, fruits, herbs, and flowers. All natural items are some of my favorite to make as well, items like bath soaks and non-toxic pinesol.

We have 10 ducks and 2 dogs. We do expect duck eggs this summer 2026. If you hear barking while you’re visiting us that’s Sage our Great Pyrenees mix and she’s just doing her job (saying hello and protecting her duck babies.) We also have a Bernese Mountain dog named Birdie, she barks less. See cute dog photos below.

We have a strong belief in regenerative farming. Here’s what that means - minimizing soil disturbance, using cover crops, living roots year-round, maximizing biodiversity, and contextual management.

Some of the benefits of regenerative farming are increasing organic matter in soil, climate mitigation, environmental resilience, and nutrient-dense foods.

For our favorite education crash course on regenerative farming we recommend watching “Common Ground”. (We are not sponsored by this documentary.)
